When we moved to the rehab unit, whenever Odeh could, he would stop by at the end of his shift just to "check in" and touch my husband ever so gently and say "peace be with you." He was my angel and my husband's angel-- my family's angel. Odeh's presence brought a sense of sacredness into the room. He spoke quietly, listened attentively, and cared with all his heart.
