Every second Obi spent with me as my caregiver made me feel that my care, comfort, and emotional well-being were his top priorities. He communicated with us as people and individuals, and you can see his passion and dedication towards his patients. Aside from being very open and sincere with me and my family, Obi did two particular wonderful things:

1. He witnessed me going through a rough moment in which I was not proud of my behavior (I had been unkind to my family in front of him), and he understood me and was very empathetic as I realized my wrongdoings; meanwhile, he was as gracious and kind as ever.

2. He explained to us his philosophy and love for his job – “What if someone you love was in the hospital?” I will treat every single patient the way I would want them to be treated. With love, kindness, compassion, and respect. Obi is the best nurse ever!
