We cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for Liz. She was truly an angel during our darkest moments during our mother’s stay. Liz listened to us, acted and took care of the situation with genuine compassion. She comforted us with the knowledge and guidance she provided us.
Stephanie Miksche, MS, BSN, RN, OCN
I cannot say enough about Stephanie. She is truly an amazing asset to your team. Besides her knowledge of the job, she is the most caring and empathetic person. Stphanie was always tending to our mother’s needs first, but also always answered our questions and explained the situation. Her priority was making sure that mom was in the best hands possible and in the rare case that she couldn’t help, she found someone who could. Stephanie overwhelmingly took a horrible situation of placing our mother in hospice care and turned into a peaceful decision. She genuinely listened to and cared about the outcome for our mom, making sure we had all of the resources necessary. Stephanie cannot be thanked enough for her compassion and the time she spent with all of us. She’s one in a million!
Carol McNicholas, ADN, RN
Carol was a wonderful nurse in many aspects. Not only was she caring and compassionate, but she also provided a wealth of information during a very difficult hospital stay. Carol made sure she not only listened to the patient, but also the family when the patient couldn’t ask questions. Her genuine compassion was largely visible during our stay, making it clear she was doing more than just a job.
Sima Hussein, BSN, RN
Sima has been a very compassionate nurse. She has taken the time to care for our mom while educating us at the same time. Her job went beyond the basic responsibilities and added genuine caring and comfort. Sima is another wonderful asset to the team as her role is providing her patients with so much more than just being a nurse.
Peachy Jane Ompoy, BSN, RN
Peachy is a caring, compassionate RN who is not just performing a job. She is caring for her patients. During our long stay with our mother, Peachy was always making sure mom was taken care of and explaining things to us. She did a wonderful job of being more than just a nurse.
Becky Richards, BSN, RN
Becky was the most compassionate and caring nurse during a very stressful and difficult day. Her genuine passion for her job exuded during her shift. She was extremely gentle with our mom and understanding of her needs. She also took the time to explain multiple things to us, so we could better understand what was happening.
Sandra Tuazon, BSN, RN, OCN
Sandra took care of our mother on the night shift and showed genuine compassion for the rough night she was having. She offered suggestions to ease and comfort her. Sandra is another great example of the compassion needed, especially on this floor.
