I would like to take this opportunity to nominate the Nursing Informatics Team for their outstanding contributions to UCSF Health. At times, our work goes unrecognized, but it is an important and integral part of making the enterprise run smoothly in all care areas.

The Nursing Informatics Team consistently extends far above and beyond their duties, acting as liaisons between those on the front lines and Health IT. Despite being a small team of leaders, they manage multiple projects that are too numerous to list individually. Their efforts are crucial in ensuring that the technology and systems we rely on are optimized for clinical use, ultimately enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Our work is inherently collaborative, always keeping in mind the needs of our patients. The team embodies UCSF’s mission and values of Caring, Healing, Teaching, and Discovering in their roles as informaticists. By integrating these core principles into their daily tasks, they ensure that the solutions we develop not only advance healthcare delivery but also support the broader goals of the institution.
