I never imagined, while waking up this morning, that I would be spending my night in a hospital bed, recovering from cardiac catheterization, and after spending my full day at the hospital at the age of just 34.

It was, to say the least, a scary experience. One that was so much easier and more bearable thanks to the effort and sincere dedication, and work ethic of Nurse Mrs. Noby Mol Thomas.

Nurse Noby is a true hero serving on the frontlines of the ICU department of Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. Her level of care and attention to detail was unmatched. I never felt in need of anything or had any of my questions or clarifications left unanswered.

She assisted me in the simplest tasks and even went out of her way to make sure my power bank was recharged so I could use my phone.

I felt I was with family. I felt taken care of during this difficult and hard time. This exemplary behavior gave me the confidence and strength to get over my ordeal. That’s something I will forever be grateful for. I know I didn’t stay in the ICU for a long time, but during my short visit, I felt the warm devotion of Noby. And after knowing that today was her day off and she still stayed to assist me, I was even more touched.
