The PICU team demonstrated a high degree of care, professionalism, and genuine warmth.

Lani would come on night shifts and brush my daughter's hair, knowing that she liked it. She would come regularly and make sure my daughter was comfortable. The personal touch Lani demonstrated was what made her stand out. Always patient, with a big smile on her face. A massive credit to the profession and a lovely lady.

Olive's approach towards my daughter was truly heart-warming. My daughter was in the PICU for almost a month. Even when Olive was not assigned to my daughter, she would always come and check on her. Her gentle approach made my wife and me extremely comfortable knowing that our daughter would receive the best care. We are truly grateful to have had Olive looking after our daughter, and I hope she is greatly recognized for her amazing work and wonderful nature.

Princess has a wonderful personality. Always laughing and smiling. This behavior is infectious, which is needed given the nature of the ICU. Princess was so loving and caring towards my daughter. I could not have asked for any more. A great nurse, more importantly, an amazing human being. Like all other nurses, we were grateful to have Princess look after our daughter.

Bitcy epitomizes professionalism. The most dedicated nurse I have met. It was evident that her sole priority was to look after my daughter. My wife and I were so comfortable knowing Bitcy was one of the nurses looking after our daughter. She was so soft and gentle with our daughter, and she made us feel lucky to have her provide care. Bitcy really is an exceptional nurse, and we hope she gets the recognition she so greatly deserves.

We only had Karen look after our daughter for a short period, as she went on leave after the first couple of weeks in the PICU. But, in that short period of time, she was nothing short of amazing. Extremely dedicated to ensuring our daughter was comfortable and receiving all the required attention. She is a great professional with a great heart, as demonstrated by the care my daughter received.

Nayana was very caring and observant towards my daughter. Her warmth and affection towards my daughter made her stand out. She is extremely professional and polite and is a massive credit not only to the hospital but to the medical profession as a whole. She, along with all the wonderful caregivers at the PICU at NMC, deserves to be recognized for all the amazing work they do, selflessly.
