You can tell Ms. Nikki enjoys her job!  She made such a difficult situation so much easier by just taking the time to make a connection with our family.  

The first day she was my daughter’s nurse, I knew my daughter was in great hands.  She was so kind and gentle with her.  It helped give me peace of mind knowing someone was showing her care as I would.

The biggest impact she made was a day she didn’t have my daughter.  She happened to pass by the room and saw me upset.  Instead of just ignoring me, she came and gave me a big hug, which I really needed, and took the time to just listen and reassure me that I’m doing well. 

I really hope she knows how much that meant to me.  Thanks to her, just going out of her way to listen and check on me during the day helped me sleep a lot easier, knowing there are nurses like her who enjoy the babies and families.
