Nikki is a role model who embodies the values of nursing excellence, and her actions directly enhance the experience and outcomes of the patients we serve.
Nomination #1:
Nikki is an outstanding leader. She exuberates PRIDE values and the Eskenazi mission in everything she does. Most recently, she has taken the lead with our new scheduling system, EZCall. She has spent countless hours learning and reviewing the system in an effort to begin teaching our team how to use the newly implemented system. Nikki started this project just to know how to complete her tasks as a scheduler and took it upon herself to be fully engaged in the building process to ensure her team has the most effective use of the new system.
Nikki goes above and beyond for the team daily. This is just one example of how Nikki puts everything she has into her work to ensure the team is well taken care of, so they are set up for success to care for our patients. We are lucky to have Nikki as a leader in the Perioperative Department. I am proud to have her on the team.

I would like to nominate Nicole (Nikki) Iden for the DAISY Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication and commitment as a Perioperative Shift Coordinator. Nikki consistently goes above and beyond for both our patients and our staff. She leads with compassion, professionalism, and a strong sense of teamwork, ensuring that patient care remains the top priority while also supporting her colleagues.
Her ability to anticipate needs, problem-solve under pressure, and maintain a positive, approachable attitude makes a tremendous difference in our daily workflow.
