I came to the ED via ambulance from work. They ran a stroke code on me. I was found to have a large brain tumor that was bleeding. Niki was at my side, holding my hand, crying, and praying with me. I have been a nurse at Corewell for over 23 years. I can tell you she deserves an Award. I felt heard and cared for. I am recovered, and I will never forget her.
