Nicole has served as my nurse as I went through several six-week sessions of treatment for bladder cancer. These treatments included placing medication into my bladder and also lying in various positions so that the medication could reach all areas of the bladder. These took four fifteen-minute sessions per week. Nicole was extremely careful with the medications and also with all the protective garments she needed. But more importantly, the thoughtful, caring efforts she made to try to keep me as comfortable as possible, and to try to prevent any pain during all these treatments. She was careful to make me feel as sure as possible that all would go well and that I would feel secure. On top of all that, Nicole was asked to help train another nurse in how all this was done. She made that nurse feel as confident as possible as he worked to learn the best way to treat me. Nicole is not only a good nurse, well-trained and careful, but also a caring, reassuring, and loving person.
