I first met Nicole during a hospital visit for severe back pain when I was 30 weeks pregnant. She stood out by staying with me most of the night, helping with my needs, and offering emotional support as I struggled with constant vomiting. When I was induced at 38 weeks, I was terrified for my first delivery, but seeing her walk in was a huge relief. She was by my side during several painful attempts to place my epidural. She stayed calm, supportive, and encouraging during my contractions. She even stayed past her 12-hour shift to be with me when I gave birth to my daughter.
