Nicole went above and beyond, and continues to do so, as she takes care of my father. She quite literally saved his life. My father had his second open-heart surgery, and not even 24 hours later, he coded while on the recliner chair.

Nicole acted quickly and swiftly, and because of her quick recognition and efforts, my father is alive. She has gone above and beyond when it comes to communicating things with my family and me. Breaking things down to simpler explanations every step of the way. She had an answer to every question I asked, and when she didn’t, she made sure to get one.

She reassures my father as he asks for things, and she is one of the sweetest healthcare workers I've ever come in contact with in my 11 years in healthcare. When you think of the kind of nurse you want to have in this stressful, sensitive area, you think of Nicole. She stayed on top of her new hire and educated me greatly along the way, so that neither my family nor I would even think twice about having "someone new" take care of my dad.

We knew he was in great hands, and she would not let anything happen to him. My father felt more than comfortable asking for things he needed, knowing she wouldn't hesitate to help him. Safety was never a question with her by his side. I cannot explain enough how wholesome and caring she is as a person and nurse.

She continues to make my family and my father's stay as stress-free as possible. She's been our angel during this very stressful time. We cannot thank her enough for all she does and continues to do.
