My dad suffered from 3rd degree burns to 12% of his body and, unfortunately, passed away from complications. Although he passed during the night, she had been his nurse that day and the days prior, even going so far as to offer to come in on her day off to care for him.

She was intelligent, kind, and compassionate. She was on top of everything going on from a medical standpoint, while also being an emotional support to both of my parents. She was patient with my dad and hugged my mom when she cried. During a heartbreaking time in our lives, she was exactly what we needed from a nurse. I hope she never doubts the difference that she makes; we are forever grateful.
