Nick is a great asset to your team, and we are so grateful he was able to take care of my husband while we were so far away from home.
My family and I were on a short vacation back home to South Louisiana to show our girls Mardi Gras. It was the morning we were packing up to leave to go back home to Florida when my husband started feeling ill. We ended up bringing him to the emergency room. The initial hospital we brought him to did not have a general surgeon on staff that day, so he had to be transferred to nearby Chabert Medical Center, where he could be treated.
We ended up staying 2 nights in the hospital while my husband had a tube placed in his stomach to untwist his small intestine. Nick was our nurse; he made my husband feel so comfortable. He was always cheery and willing to explain everything in a way that was not scary or standoffish. It was great to have someone assure us that everything was going to be good and made us feel normal in a time of whirlwind. He took the time to talk to my husband about our girls, and they connected because he was a dad of 2 just like him.
