I would like to nominate Nenishka for the DAISY Award for her exceptional compassion and dedication to patient-centered care. Despite a busy start to the shift, she took the time to take a patient outside to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. This simple but meaningful gesture made a tremendous difference in the patient’s day and demonstrated that she truly sees the person behind the diagnosis. She is a true go-getter, always willing to step in and help wherever needed. As a newer nurse, she has demonstrated critical thinking and compassion, always with a smile. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate patients’ wishes while maintaining excellent care. Her positive attitude, teamwork, and genuine kindness make her an invaluable member of the healthcare team. Her commitment to making patients feel heard, respected, and cared for is inspiring.
