Natasha was especially observant and noted my swollen ankles, which ended up being bilateral blood clots and a saddle pulmonary embolism, which required emergency treatment with the placement of bilateral filters and draining of the chest blood clot. I feel that if Natasha had not been so observant, things might have turned out very differently. She even came to PCU the following day to see how he was doing.

Natasha provided beyond excellent nursing care while caring for my father, who had an NSTEMI. As a nurse myself, I have unfortunately been witness to the “worst case scenarios” where patients deteriorate quickly. Naturally, I watched the nurses and doctors closely, nervously hoping my father would remain stable while awaiting the cath lab. Natasha was vigilant, caring, and had a way of keeping my dad calm. She prioritized my dad’s safety, comfort, and dignity.
