The first time I met Natalie was on my first day at Encompass. This soft-spoken woman was working as a nurse and tech on this day. Her compassion came through. Her excellence was evident in three areas. First, knowledge: her skill and knowledge are made apparent by the way she breaks each action and procedure down in layman terms to educate me as a patient. Second, compassion: her love of medicine is matched only by her wonderful understanding and compassion for me and what I am facing. Third, she listens with her ears, sees with her eyes, and feels with a full heart. Natalie made me feel that I was her only concern when she entered my room. Natalie was the reason for my success.

Natalie is very knowledgeable and truly tries to observe and stay ahead of any health problems in addition to the one being treated. She does her work very fast and does it in a way you can feel the love she has for you and it makes you want to improve as fast as you can because you want to please her. She tries to make you the most comfortable at all times.

Natalie has been so kind to me. She goes out of her way to help. I needed medication and she called the doctor to get the medication for me. Even when she was so busy, she helped answer my questions. I came here to use my legs. I had been staying in my chair and home health suggested I come here. I started gaining my strength and confidence back.

Nurse Natalie is special because of her extra warm personality. She made me feel as if I were her only patient. She willingly rubbed lotion on my cracked feet and she did this with a good attitude. Over the Christmas weekend, she took on other staff jobs to help out. She made sure I was taken care of with such effortless care that I wanted to write this note. She is so deserving of the extraordinary nurse award. Everything Nurse Natalie does seems so easy and she does it without complaining.
