Natalia Mianowski, RN, BSN

After being airlifted by medivac from WC and arriving here, I was scared and wondering if I was going to make it. Since I have no immediate family close by, I felt quite alone. Shortly after being placed in the ICU, an angel in disguise of Natalia appeared at my bedside.

With fate and with much disappointment, I found myself here, an aging man in his last quarter of life with no wife or children. All the hurt, loss, grief, and disappointment that have been buried deep inside were released in a river of tears during my stay here in the ICU. I have poured my heart out to Natalia. She held my hand, comforted me, and I could feel her compassion and loving kindness, which I know was God working through her.

I feel honored and blessed to have been under her care. I noticed her frequent laughter and a joy that radiates from her soul. I was amazed at how gracefully and skillfully she performed her nurse tasks, and always with a joyous heart. Natalia has made a profound impact in my life, and I will always remember her as the best nurse anyone could possibly have. She is such a sweet, kind, and loving soul, and anyone who is fortunate to be under her care would feel the same!
