February 2026 Honoree
Natalee Sanders, RN III
Natalee Sanders was driving eastbound and witnessed my accident on the westbound side lane. She turned her car around and pulled up to the accident. She began to ask both drivers involved if they were okay. The other driver was okay. Natalee then focused on me. She stated she was an ER nurse. She began quizzing me about whether I had any pain, if I knew where I was, etc. I had my own personal nurse on the side of the road! She had me sit down and began to treat the cut on my head, wrapping it up. Natalee checked my eyes, checked for seatbelt injury, a thorough check.
A complete stranger, on her way home, took the time and showed compassion to someone in need- above and beyond!
