Dr. Nancy Pike joined the UCLA School of Nursing in 2009 and her teaching in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program is exemplary. In one of her larger classes, Dr. Pike achieved a perfect 9 out of 9 rating from all 15 students in the course when rating course quality. That was duplicated by a perfect 9 out of 9 rating on the quality of the instructor, again by a unanimous student rating.

The qualitative comments by students expand on the quantitative ratings: I really like how Nancy is very tech-savvy and can upload recorded lectures. She is overall a phenomenal professor - super organized, to the point, clear and fair! This course was challenging but I learned a lot because of the structure Dr. Pike provided. Overall, Dr. Pike is an expert in both advanced pediatric content and a superb professor who has mastered teaching excellence in the MSN-APRN program.
