I wanted you all to know the great care I received at Stoughton Hospital. I have been going to UW for years and never got this level of amazing care. I even cried when discharged home. I was hospitalized for a few days after falling at home. I was scared and confused to stay overnight. Nakia admitted me that night.

From the moment she walked into my room, I knew she was special. She came in with that big, beautiful smile and said, "Just call me Nikki." She made me feel safe and truly loved as a person. She was caring, patient, and knew all the answers to my questions. She did everything before I even asked her. She brought hot chocolate, marshmallows, and popcorn. She did not have to do that, but wanted us to enjoy the holiday. Most nurses will not buy things out of their own pocket. Nikki and G made sure we saw fireworks and had snacks. I can't say enough great things about G. She was the best CNA, too. Nikki was my nurse each night of my stay and was the answer to my prayers. I told her she was sent by God, and good luck with her future education. Nakia is truly fantastic and a diamond in the sky.
