Mumtaz Hashi, RN, CRRN

I was very fortunate to have Mumtaz Hashi as one of my nurses during my stay at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital. She not only has a pleasant and friendly demeanor, but she is very knowledgeable about many facets of health care and nursing—from wound care to pharmaceutical matters.

For example, I was very grateful for the meticulous way Mumtaz dressed the wound on my leg/ankle that had been operated on due to an MRSA infection. Plus, she patiently answered my questions regarding the many medications I was taking. One of my medications had to be administered through a PICC line, which she handled effortlessly and efficiently. I found Mumtaz to be a very dedicated and hard-working nurse who really cares about her patients. She is definitely deserving of the DAISY award!
