As soon as I stepped into the ED, Morgan greeted me and handed me warm blankets, and made me feel safe and seen. Morgan explained to me well the medicine, the secondary effects, and showed compassion, as well as offered to stay with me through the IV procedure. He offered me cold wipes for my hot flashes, offered me another gown for myself because I didn’t feel comfortable with just one, and always made sure I was feeling good.
