Monique Desko, Associate Degree Nursing, RN

Monique (Mo) Desko has answered all my questions with more information than I thought there was to be stated. Any inquiry contained both answers and reasons, whether procedures, treatment, or medication. Mo kept me informed on what I could do to help my situation. She has been extremely considerate of my modesty and my feelings. She also was elevating my mood when I became a little dejected.

Mo has shown professionalism throughout our interactions with a cheerfulness of someone who truly loves her work. Mo has shown it is not a job but a career. I have been dealing with the public for 55 years as a bartender, and I can recognize people who honestly enjoy what they do. A lot of people like Monique go through life without any sort of recognition, so that is why I am writing this, Monique. Sometimes, very good to great is just a little recognition. Though with Mo, I think she’s there already. Monique has calmed my fears and fully explained the practices and procedures that the hospital uses and that I am totally ignorant of. I would recommend her to all the people that I have waited on, served, or met in the 34 years I have been living in Port St. Lucie. Extremely impressed.
