I would like to recognize the outstanding staff member who was assigned to take care of my 1-year-old baby. From the very beginning, I was touched by the way Monika approached my child—with such gentleness, warmth, and genuine care. It is never easy to see a baby go through a medical procedure, but her compassionate presence made all the difference.
When the time came to insert the line for my baby’s medication, she showed not only great skill but also remarkable patience. Despite my baby being so young, they managed to communicate in a soothing and reassuring way, making sure my child felt as comfortable as possible. What impressed me even more was expertise—the line was inserted successfully on the very first attempt, sparing my baby from unnecessary distress.
The kindness did not end there. Time after time, she came back to check on my baby, ensuring that everything was okay. Were attentive to the smallest details—whether it was adjusting the position, making sure my baby was comfortable, or simply offering a gentle smile. Her ability to combine clinical skill with genuine compassion truly stood out.
As a parent, I felt reassured and comforted knowing that my child was in the hands of such caring professionals. They not only cared for my baby’s medical needs but also showed a deep understanding of the emotional support needed for both the patient and the family. The presence brought calmness during a stressful situation, and for that, I will always be grateful.
Staff members like Monika are the perfect example of what nursing is all about—kindness, compassion, competence, and dedication. I wholeheartedly believe she is well deserving of this award because of the extraordinary care provided to my 1-year-old baby and the comfort extended to me as a parent.
