I'd like to recognise Monica for so many reasons. Let me start with her superb care and attention to detail and time management with regards to medication dispense, any symptoms I was struggling with, any questions and advice for when I left the unit for the ward and home. Not with Monica, there are no bounds to her knowledge, empathy, time given to listen and understand.

This has created the utmost respect toward her from my relatives and me, and calms me down, aiding my symptoms and coping strategies whilst under her care and at home, and helped my understanding of the importance of what the medical staff do to help me, and this has saved my life. She always has an incredible smile and sense of humour that I missed greatly when well and not in hospital across different wards and departments.

I found that this high quality level of nursing and Monica as a person is a rare and incredible asset to the hospital, the patients’ and certainly to me and my family.
