When Mohammad is House Supervisor, there is never any question of how the shift will go. He is highly aware of what is going on in each department, where the challenges are, and has a plan to meet and overcome those challenges. He deals with all staff and patients in a friendly, kind, and fair manner, consistently treating everyone like they are family. 

Mohammad has consistent diligence in making sure staffing is safe across all areas. He is a resource to unit leadership in helping to resolve throughput issues. When dealing with patient issues, whether a complaint or making sure a problematic discharge is solved safely for a patient, Mohammad takes whatever time is needed, to make the patients feel valued, and heard and to ensure the best outcome is achieved. 

Mohammad has a great relationship with department staff, which enhances his ability to work collegially with them. This is most evident by the fact he has invitations to every department's potlucks! 

Mohammad just wants to help.  He wants to make things easy for everyone and be as helpful as possible, no matter the circumstance.  If he can ease a situation or provide guidance, Mohammad does without hesitation.  

A fellow nurse wrote us, “We had a patient in MICU who was Muslim. Mohammad arranged for an Iman to come and pray over our patient. He went above and beyond to make sure our patient and their family received the spiritual support they needed during this trying time. The patient is critically ill and probably will not make it through this illness, so having the Iman come to pray over the patient and with the family was very important to them. Thank you, Mohammad, for taking the time to make sure our patient and family felt supported and cared for.”

Is this just one example of many of how Mohammad cares like family for our patients, colleagues, and physicians.  Mohammad is truly a star, and we are fortunate to have him on Team RCH.
