Nurse Modupe truly embodies the ICARE principles in every aspect of her care for our veterans. From the moment I arrived on the unit, she was pleasant and helpful, treating me with dignity from our very first interaction. When she returned the next shift, she made sure I had washcloths to bathe, promptly recognizing that I had not been able to wash all day and attending to that need with care and respect. She supplied everything necessary for me to bathe, never making me feel like a burden.

She is truly here to serve the veterans. She made sure I was clean and ready for the day, and she even arranged for my sleep apnea machine to be brought to me so that I could sleep well through the night. Her attentiveness didn't waver across shifts as she consistently checked in and anticipated my needs before I had to ask.

Her dedication and the respectful, graceful manner in which she ensured I had everything I needed were nothing short of excellent. She made my stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and her professionalism in carrying out her duties deserves real recognition.

I would like to personally commend Nurse Modupe for her outstanding care. Thank you, Nurse Modupe, for the excellence you brought to my care during my stay. You exemplify what it means to serve with ICARE.
