April 2026 Honoree
Miya Wright, RN
Miya was incredibly sweet and friendly to all of us the entire time. She was very timely in bringing my loved one her medicine every hour and would bring us whatever we needed: fresh water, pillows, ice cream, etc.
Specifically, she engaged with her so sweetly whenever we walked by or if she or I had questions. She was so fun by letting her play with her hair clip, letting her pretend to call on the phone, or letting her type on her keyboard. Little things like that make her feel loved and let her feel like she was having fun in a not-so-fun situation.
She was polite when encouraging her to drink when she got behind, explaining that it’s much better to drink than to do the tube in the throat, but never became annoyed or pushy.
She made the whole experience comfortable and was a prime example of showing Jesus’s love to others.

Thank you, Miya, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
