Our 9-month-old son was admitted to Rainbow Babies due to an infection and a congenital defect of his anus. We had no idea what to expect, but an ostomy was placed as a life-saving measure.

After we were discharged, we were so overwhelmed with everything that went into caring for his ostomy. We met Mitzi when going for follow-up care. Mitzi went above and beyond in assisting with our son's care. She was always a phone call or email away whenever we needed guidance or troubleshooting.

I have told everyone I know that Mitzi literally saved us through this process. Our son had his ostomy for 15 months, which was a lot longer than expected, and Mitzi guided us through everything the entire time. I cannot thank her enough for her time and thoughtfulness, integrity, and knowledge.

She went above and beyond our expectations, and we're truly grateful for the care we received from her. Mitzi deserves all the praise, and we are truly grateful for everything she provided.
