I was far from home and in need of emergency care. The emergency department, as you know, is very busy and can become chaotic at times. Miranda McCoy made me feel safe and cared about when I felt alone and scared. She took time to listen to me, address my concerns, and make sure that I was comfortable, even when I could tell she had few resources. She was kind and a bright light during my visit. I was so impressed with her care and empathy, something that cannot be learned and comes from the heart. She is truly a gem.
