While Miranda has only been in the nurse manager role for a few short months, her impact has been monumental. She has influenced a major culture shift in the unit, where staff morale has increased exponentially! Miranda has gained the trust of staff through her timely follow-through and follow-up on issues and her leadership to make sure Mom Baby is involved in the right initiatives that support patient safety and staff satisfaction. I know she will think it's too soon to receive a nomination like this, which is even more reason why she deserves it. She is not boastful and really values staff opinion.
