Michelle consistently went above and beyond, according to the nominator, providing compassionate care while keeping the family informed and involved every step of the way.
The family said Michelle's attention to detail made a meaningful difference, including making sure the patient's hearing aids were charged nightly. Because the patient experienced significant hearing loss and memory-related challenges, Michelle's vigilance helped maintain communication, comfort, and safety throughout the recovery process.
"Knowing that Michelle was in control allowed our family to pick up the pieces back at home," the family wrote. "Because of Michelle, our family regained the trust we had lost during her hospital stay, and we were able to go about our lives with a little normalcy, knowing that my mom was important and had the best team taking care of her."
