Michelle was our absolute rock throughout the pregnancy, nothing was ever too much trouble and she was treated us with care, dignity, and respect.
I fell pregnant in 2020 and Michelle was my midwife but sadly my partner and I lost our little boy at 18 weeks. After losing him, Michelle came to do a home visit to make sure both myself and my partner were ok and to offer support and advice. In 2021 I fell pregnant again and Michelle was my midwife again. From day one I was extremely anxious and Michelle went above and beyond throughout the whole pregnancy. She saw me weekly from 16 weeks to listen to baby just for my reassurance until I was able to be monitored at the hospital. She kept a close eye on me during every visit, she was always at the end of the phone whenever I had a worry no matter how big or small, and acted accordingly, and sometimes that was just by talking me through whatever I was worrying about and giving me that reasonable explanation that I needed. She always asked my partner how he was too and was a listening ear for him during appointments. She was our absolute rock throughout the pregnancy, nothing was ever too much trouble and she was treated us with care, dignity, and respect. I couldn’t have wished for a better midwife. I don’t think I would have gotten through my pregnancy without her. I now have a happy healthy baby boy. Michelle, my partner and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us during our pregnancy. Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re a phenomenal midwife.
