I wanted to take a moment to recognize Michelle for the incredible compassion and care she showed to one of our GIP patients and their family.

The patient, who was in the final stages of life, had expressed a desire for a better view — something peaceful, like trees or the lake. I shared this with Michelle, and she immediately took the initiative to find a quieter room with a more serene view. She not only arranged the move but also personally came to show the family the space, ensuring they were comfortable and supported throughout the transition.

Her actions brought peace and comfort to the patient and their loved ones during a deeply emotional time. Michelle demonstrated our "Love Me" service standard so naturally — treating the patient and family with warmth, empathy, and respect. She truly went above and beyond, making a meaningful difference.  She’s a wonderful example of the heart and compassion we hope to bring to every family we care for.
