Michael Ramos, BSN, RN

I have had Nurse Michael Ramos twice to help put IVs in me. For me, he made all the difference in my care as I am a hard stick and filled with anxiety. His bedside manner is exquisite. He took great care in making sure I was comfortable. I was moved to nominate him. I have had many a phlebotomist, but I haven't had one like Mike. This is the first time I have ever written about a nurse by name. That is how much his care meant to me, who is normally a pin cushion--I felt like a person due to his care to detail. He went above and beyond to help his co-worker tend to me. I have to admit, I enjoyed Mike's banter so much, I began ordering him around to do the other tasks to assist me. He cheerfully agreed and was keeping me calm every step of the way.
