While having our baby girl in the NICU was the hardest thing that my wife and I have ever experienced and having to be separated from our beautiful baby was so much on our mental state Nurse Michael was truly the 2nd best gift god gave us for this scary stay he not only treated our baby with the utmost respect and love but he went out of his way every time he was with us. He made sure to tell my wife how amazing she was doing, and she will continue to do so. He not only took such good care of her, but he wanted to make sure we had a firm grasp on everything he was doing with our baby at all times, with what medicine, oxygen, feeding, and so so much more. At some points, my wife and I would break down crying, and what got us through was knowing that Nurses like Michael were there with our baby. Words can’t describe how thankful and deserving this man is for this Award.
