Michael Arenella, MSN, RN-BC: Assistant Nurse Manager Community Living Center (CLC). Michael Arenella is the Assistant Nurse Manager in the CLC. Michael is caring and compassionate and has a way of talking to people, especially our noncompliant CLC residents.

He was able to convince Mr. A to have a roommate despite adamantly refusing earlier that day. He is one of the RNs that Mrs. C always compliments and appreciates. He tried to convince Mr. M for about three hours not to sign AMA. He gives credit where credit is due. He acknowledges staff accomplishments, like when the code goes well.

One time, he acknowledged staff who caught a CLC resident having a stroke. At another time, he and CLC staff prevented harm to a bedbound resident when the head of his bed sparked and almost caught fire. They immediately got the resident out of the bed to keep him safe. Michael is truly deserving of recognition as a Nurse leader.
