Micah took care of me for three nights. I couldn't believe it when I found out he was in training as a new nurse. I was very surprised from the moment he took over my care. He was very professional, mature for his age, and knowledgeable about my care, medications and my needs. I had expressed to him that I was really battling depression and that I had seen the psychiatrist.

Micah knew I was concerned because the end of the work day was approaching quickly and I was so desperate to see the doctor again because I was just certain he had some answers to my depression and anxiety. Micah actually paged the doctor just to let him know I was still here and really needed to see him. This was just before 5pm and I thought well if he doesn't see me tonight, he definitely would see me tomorrow. Sure enough, just before 6pm the hard working and brilliant doctor showed up to see me and that visit resulted in me starting a new medication. I can honestly say two days later has already made a difference. 

I was also what I would call a high maintenance case. My blood pressure was off the charts and I required continuous monitoring and blood pressure medication. Every time my blood pressure would go over 160, Micah was always on top of it and I knew he had several other patients to care for. When I had pain from fresh blood clots, Micah kept my pain under control and wasn't judgmental. Lastly, he made sure I had my nicotine gum when I needed it every hour. I don't smoke, but use the gum to stay tobacco free for years now. Micah is going to be a great asset to this hospital and I'm thankful. I could go on and on. Thank you.
