My husband and I came in last Sunday for a possible miscarriage. While we’ve tried for years to get pregnant, and this is our first, every step of the way was very scary! Meredith went above and beyond to reassure us, help us, and care for us both. In the end, we did miscarry, and as sad and heartbroken as we are, the treatment and care we received made all the difference. Meredith hugged our families and us. She was genuinely caring for us, whom she had never met, like we were her very own family! Meredith came back the next day to check in on us. We haven’t stopped talking about the genuine care we received. We felt loved through every step of our journey. We didn’t ask for membership in the club of others who have also miscarried. But we are certainly grateful it was Meredith who was there for us as we joined this club. While we didn’t leave with our precious baby girl, we left with hugs and people who genuinely cared about our well-being. We thank God our paths crossed even in the midst of our sadness!
