I came to the treatment center for a Reclast infusion. Melissa greeted me with a big smile. She explained the procedure in great detail and asked me if I had any questions. She made sure I was comfortable, and she made sure I had a call button, should I have any problems during the course of the infusion, although my husband was sitting in the room with me. She was friendly and professional, reassuring for a person who has never experienced such a procedure. Melissa even offered us a drink to ensure the experience would be as smooth and pleasant as possible. I was a bit nervous at first, but I really felt comfortable thanks to Melissa’s empathy and kindness. I felt as if I was truly in good hands. Melissa filled each of the PETALS criteria! She deserves to be recognized.
