Melissa helped deliver my first child in 2022. She was compassionate back then and left her lasting mark on my family from the very first day we met her. Fast forward to 2024, Melissa was the first nurse I met to check me in for my scheduled C-section of my son. She may not have recognized me, but my husband and I recognized her immediately! It was so reassuring to have her familiar face there, and even though she had been promoted to charge nurse since the last time we had seen her, she was still checking in on us throughout the day.

My son ended up needing an unexpected NICU stay. Melissa was a huge advocate in my getting to discharge and go be with my son! If it wasn't for her willingness to help, even though I was not her assigned patient, I would not have been able to see my son when I did! I am forever grateful for Melissa and would love for her to know that. Please tell her thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I never got to give her the proper thank you after my son was born. She deserves the world and is an outstanding caregiver!
