In December 2024, I had an appendectomy, and Nurse Melissa and her student nurse Maddie were incredibly professional and kind. Nurse Melissa demonstrated clear expertise in everything that was going on, which made me feel very comfortable and confident in the medical team. She even interjected humor that helped dissipate some of the anxiety about the whole situation. I can't be thankful enough for the kindness shown and overstate how great my stay was despite needing surgery around the holiday. This sort of work clearly stands out and deserves a DAISY Award!
