I can not say enough about Melissa. She was the best nurse I have ever had. I was anxiety-ridden upon my arrival to the ICU. She was so kind, compassionate, and caring and had to talk me down before my test as I panicked about the unknown. She spoke to me about what to do to help calm myself down. She understood and guided me with the tools I needed to have a much calmer reaction to my life. I am forever grateful for meeting this exceptional nurse!

Melissa cared for my husband while in the ICU. When it became apparent that my husband was not going to make it out of the hospital alive, Melissa’s quiet comforting demeanor brought comfort and confidence to our entire family. She facilitated for every family member to visit him and give them time to say goodbye. She provided respect, support, and comfort while allowing us privacy. She took great care of my husband during his final hours and made him as comfortable as possible. She also took care of me while I was there and showed her gentle compassion. Melissa’s kindness will always be remembered by me and my family.
