I would like you to know what an amazing nurse you have at St. Vincent Clay in Brazil, IN. At the end of February, my husband brought my daughter and me into the ER. Within 30 minutes, Melissa came in to tell my husband Lifeline was almost there to take me to Indy. Our daughter, 10 years old,  just had a viral infection, was terrified, and upset. Melissa quickly got her a drink and took her to watch the helicopter land. She told them her mom was their patient and they let her know I was in good hands. She walked my daughter back to say goodbye. My husband said she reassured her again that I’d be okay.

At the beginning of May, my husband was the patient. We were so lucky to get Melissa as his nurse. She has the best bedside manners. Melissa explains everything and quickly responds to any need. On the 22nd of May, my sweet father-in-law was brought into the ER by ambulance. CPR was performed.
Unfortunately, he passed away, and all the staff, including the EMTs, gave 100%. We were so lucky to get Melissa as the nurse. She was so kind and understanding. She took her time and answered any questions we had. She stood patiently when tears were flowing and words couldn’t come out. Her kindness in every moment we had with her will forever be appreciated.
