Just wanted to take a moment to highlight one of your team members – Melissa Herritz. My son had dental surgery in Madison. After many hours of dealing with a clotting issue in his mouth at home after surgery, we decided it was time to go in. We were greeted by Melissa. After getting vitals and explaining our situation, we were placed in a room. Melissa was so kind and professional and made my 12-year-old feel safe and comfortable, which is saying a lot because he had been through it.

We were then introduced to Dr. G, who was great as well. My son kept calling him Charlie Berens, which lightened the mood. Dr. G and Melissa acted fast to come up with a plan and were such a great duo. I am so happy my little guy was finally able to get some rest after they successfully removed the clots and stopped the bleeding. A huge thank you to the nurse and all the staff for that early morning. Everyone was on their toes. We are so very grateful to have had such a sweet soul care for us. I do not know how long she has been with your hospital, but she has bloomed into a fantastic nurse. Please let her know how very special she is. We are so thankful for everyone that early morning.
