We arrived on a Wednesday late afternoon after a long, 7-hour drive, and my nephew was in considerable pain from an acute colitis issue that developed on Tuesday morning. We both were very tired, and Melissa immediately put us at ease with her friendly, courteous, and direct guidance and welcomed us as she led us to a room.

Over the course of the next 8 to 9 hours, she was constantly checking in on him, providing what he needed, and giving updates on what we could expect next. It was the most peaceful emergency room visit I have ever experienced, and she was a big part of that. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, also.

Melissa also took time to explain details, answer questions, and even share some of her experiences that put my nephew at ease. Overall, we are very thankful for the care we received, and Melissa did an amazing job creating that from the beginning through to the end.
