First, I would like to begin by saying that all the staff were very helpful as I recovered from surgery. However, there was one nurse who stood out over the rest, Melinda Wind. I have never had such a caring and compassionate nurse. You could tell she truly loved her job. She displayed that love every day, caring for the other patients and me.

One day, I wanted to get up to walk, and she said, " Let’s go," and we walked down the hallway, stopped at the patio, sat down for a few minutes, and just talked. It was something I needed at the time, and she was there to help. I will never forget her kindness.
