Upon learning this, Melanie took it upon herself to decorate the room, arrange a cake, gather the nursing staff to sing “Happy Birthday,” and even shared the occasion with other hospital staff so they could join in wishing my wife well. We were deeply touched by this gesture - it transformed an already life-changing day into an unforgettable celebration.
