I want to take a moment to recognize Meghan McVady for being a terrific nurse over the last few weeks. She often goes above and beyond in her role, especially when helping me at times when I, as an ER PCT, am short-staffed. If I am alone in the morning with several tasks to do, she will often take her own patients to CT, stock the blanket warmer, and, overall, be a help to others wherever needed, all without prompting. Meghan's bedside manner is always very caring, assertive when needed, and often aims to inform patients of their medical care as best as possible. Not only is she positive with patients, but she also always brings enthusiastic energy to the workplace, which helps lift our moods. She fully deserves the acknowledgement and has truly grown into her nursing role.
